ELEC343: Digital Systems Design

This unit is a sequence of lectures and practical work (both starting in the first week of teaching) on digital systems design, including: behavioural specification and description; architecture and structure design; software/hardware co-design; technology mapping, verification and test. This unit gives students, with a background in programming and prerequisite knowledge in VHDL, the skills and knowledge needed to design modern digital systems.
