SPH817: Medical/Surgical Speech Pathology

The unit is designed to cover medical and surgical knowledge related to a number of clinical areas serviced by speech pathologists. One component will focus on craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate. The second component will focus on relevant clinical aspects related to cardiothoracic disorders, neurosurgery, head and neck surgery and geriatrics. Tracheostomy management will also be discussed.
