PSY926: Psychology of Health
This unit aims to prepare students for work in clinical health psychology and to introduce health promotion and the wider interface between psychological processes and health. Presentations on the core mechanisms and processes, presentations by practicing leaders in clinical psychology on specific areas (pain management, chronic illness, clinical geropsychology, indigenous health) and small group work on case scenarios are the methods to achieve these objectives
