MHPG919: The Sixties: Culture and Counter-Culture

This unit offers a cultural history of the 1960s: the Cold War, the Vietnam War, student movements, civil rights and black power and the women's liberation movement. In particular, the unit will trace how these momentous changes were reflected through culture and the evolution of counter-culture.
