CHIR879: Radiological Studies I
This unit introduces the principles of musculoskeletal imaging and radiographic practice. It covers the terminology and concepts of radiological diagnosis. Students learn to identify and differentiate pathological conditions of the spine and extremities. It introduces radiographic positioning of the extremities, emphasising the importance of correct exposure factors and accurate positioning techniques.
