CAUD814: Strategies of Aural Rehabilitation
This unit aims to develop skills in aural rehabilitation, counselling and management of adult clients. Consideration is given to the needs of people with congenital deafness and to the needs of those with adventitious (late onset) hearing loss. Students will develop an appreciation of services and assistive devices that are available and will develop skills in designing individual rehabilitation plans.
