Description
A student who has completed a program of study for the combined degree of Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education with a high proportion of studies in Education and with outstanding merit may be awarded the BA DipEd with Honours. The combined degree may be awarded with Honours Class I or Class II Division I or Class II Division 2.
General Requirements
- Minimum number of credit points: 92
- Minimum number of credit points which satisfy the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts: 68
- Maximum number of credit points at 100 level: 36
- Minimum number of credit points in units offered by the School of Education: 50
- Minimum number of credit points in units with an EDUC prefix: 38
- Minimum number of credit points in units with a TEP prefix: 12
- A major in Education approved for the degree of Bachelor of Arts
- and completion of other specific requirements as set out in the Schedule of Undergraduate Programs
