Description
The Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education (High Support Needs) provides professional training for individuals working with students with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. The program of study is appropriate to a wide range of individuals including teachers, therapists, psychologists, residential care workers and workplace trainers. Units within the program of study address instructional technology, curriculum issues and communication. Candidates successfully completing the requirements for the Certificate may have these units credited towards the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education and/or the Master of Special Education.
