Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Improvisation

Description
This program offers a broad approach to improvisation, informed by recent trends in music research and pedagogy. It does this by combining a critical study of approaches to improvisation from musics around the world with instruction in a generic approach to improvisation relevant to the wide range of contemporary musics. The program will be taught by staff who have considerable national and international experience in the research, teaching and performance of improvised musics.
