Master of Wildlife Conservation

Description
The Master of Wildlife Conservation is offered jointly by the Graduate School of the Environment and the Department of Biological Sciences. The aim is to provide students with the skills necessary for employment in some aspect of wildlife or conservation at management level and/or research. The program aims to imbue students with an understanding of the inter-disciplinary nature of management decision making, while providing an overview of the ecological basis of conservation, harvest management or pest control. Students will gain skills in handling, marking, observing and conducting censuses of wild animals, with particular knowledge on the biology, ecology and behaviour of wild animals in Australia.
