Description
Students completing this program will work as organisational psychologists in consultancies, large companies or government departments in areas such as human resource management, training, job design, workplace and career counselling, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety. The program aims to produce scientist practitioners of high calibre who are well grounded in theory and practice, and capable of working within a range of organisational roles of assuming full independent professional responsibility in organisational settings and of maintaining an enquiring research attitude in day-to-day work. This course is fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and approved by the College of Organisational Psychologists. Students are eligible to apply for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia after completing their degree. Following completion of a further program of supervision (registrar program) graduates may apply to the Psychology Board of Australia be endorsed in organisational psychology.
