Description
The Master of Development Studies and Culture Change offers critical perspectives on development and cultural change in a globalising world. It is particularly concerned with how significant impacts of change are constructed and experienced at various levels from local communities, to national policies, through to international institutions. This coursework program requires core studies in both anthropology and human geography and offers electives in arrange of other fields. Specialist studies are available on the impacts of development and cultural change in the context of key issues such as environment, health, human rights and international law, indigenous rights, international relations, international communications and other relevant areas. The program is jointly taught by staff in Anthropology and Human Geography.
