Description
This course has been developed to meet the needs of graduates who wish to pursue an interest in communication disorders. It caters for speech pathologists and allied professionals, such as special educators and psychologists, wishing to upgrade their qualifications to Masters level and to specialise in areas of interest. Focus areas include developmental language disorders, reading development and disorders, psycholinguistic approaches to the study of aphasia, discourse analysis, language and cognition, and bilingualism. The focus is on exploring theories and research relevant to assessment and intervention.
