Description
The Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) is intended for Australian and overseas language professionals wishing to teach English as a foreign or second language. It has been designed to cater for experienced teachers wishing to extend their qualifications to include TESOL. It provides participants with extended theoretical and practical knowledge about language, and about curriculum design and methodologies for language education. Subjects are designed to be internationally relevant in the development of skills in analysing learners' language and English as an international language. The program is also suitable for those who wish to teach languages other than English.
