Description
The program aims to produce scientist practitioners of high calibre who are well grounded in theory and practice, and capable of working within a range of organisational roles, of assuming full independent professional responsibility in organisational settings and of maintaining an enquiring research attitude in day-to-day work. Students will gain an understanding of current theories of organisational psychology, including workplace interventions, the psychological management of organisational change, training in organisations, workplace assessment, and the administration and analysis of psychological tests. This course is fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and approved by the College of Organisational Psychologists. Students are eligible to apply for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia after completing their degree. Following completion of a further program of supervision (registrar program) graduates may apply to the Psychology Board of Australia be endorsed in organisational psychology.
