MUS206: Intermediate Vocal Studies
This unit aims to provide students with skills for technical and stylistic fluency at an intermediate level of vocal study. The unit fosters the development of interpretive and performance skills appropriate to various contemporary music genres and allows students to develop specialisations in particular areas of contemporary singing such as Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Musical Theatre. In addition, students research various musical genres and contemporary Australian singers. This unit combines lectures/workshops and practical tutorials.
