MHIS243: History on Film

Many people gain much of their knowledge of history through film and television. Students in this unit explore historical films and audience responses to those films through written tasks, discussions, film screenings and creative tasks. In so doing, they are encouraged to think about the ways in which history can be represented and the role that history can play in understanding the local and global communities that people belong to today. Students from across the campus are welcome to enrol.
