LAW204: Contracts
This unit has three broad aims. They are to convey an understanding of; first, the main competing philosophies of contract; second, the principles which are derived from these philosophies; and third, the main practical rules which are an application of those principles. An issue, which is examined through the study of recent cases, is the extent to which courts are changing the rules of contract to reflect a changed understanding of the nature and purpose of contract.
