JPS314: Reading for Special Purposes
This unit is designed for advanced learners to improve their reading skills by exposing them to Japanese source materials from diverse genres and styles. Some reading texts are selected individually to suit each student's area of (professional) interest (such as economics, science, literature, sociology, linguistics). Assessment is based on unit participation (in-class and/or online); regular assignments (in-class/online tests); as well as their improvement throughout the semester.
