ITL209: Intermediate Residential Short Unit in Italy

This unit, to take place at an Italian University with which Macquarie University has an exchange agreement, is normally offered during the mid-year break. It is intended for students who have completed ITL103 Readings in Italian or equivalent, or who are currently enrolled in ITL210 Intermediate Italian I. The unit comprises three to four weeks of intensive study of Italian language and culture. Its aim is to develop students' communicative skills in order to enable them to express themselves correctly and with facility in the language. Assessment is by examination at the end of the unit.
