ECH228: Child Development 3-8 Years: Approaches to Theory and Practice
This unit offers a critical overview of current theory and practice in the study of child development during the preschool and early school years. The cognitive, social-emotional, language and physical development of children aged between three and eight years is discussed. Particular attention is paid to the implications of research and theory for early childhood educators within the Australian social-cultural context.
