COMP334: Real-Time Computing

This unit is concerned with the design of computer systems that must return a response within a certain time frame. This unit covers topics such as embedded systems; timing and scheduling; real time software design; and real time operating systems. Different modelling techniques are also introduced and concrete examples are discussed. Some background in system architecture and programming or object oriented design is assumed.
