CHN251: Modern Chinese Literature
This unit is a study of the major works of modern Chinese literature, from Lu Xun and the writers of the thirties to contemporary literature of modern China. All texts, assignments, examinations and lectures are in Mandarin. This unit is suitable for students enrolled in Intermediate Chinese for Background Speakers, or other students with a similar level of competence in modern Chinese who would like to learn more about modern literature in China.
