CHN240: History of Chinese Literature
This unit is a survey of the major works of Chinese literature, in English translation, from the Book of Odes; Tang Poetry; Yuan Drama; Ming and Qing novels; and the twentieth century. All lectures, readings and assignments are in English. This unit is of interest to both students of Chinese and students of literature, in particular Asian literature and comparative literature.
