CHN148: Basic Spoken Chinese I
This unit concentrates on spoken Chinese for students with no knowledge of the language. This unit is usually taken in conjunction with CHN104 Introductory Chinese I, but students wishing to learn spoken Chinese without learning the script may also take this unit. Students need CHN105 Introductory Chinese II to proceed to 200-level units in Chinese.
