LING936: Context, Use and Analysis of the English Language: A Global Perspective

This unit provides a broad exploration of the different situations of language use and language learning, including the interaction between language and other meaning systems in communication. Also considered is the nature, form and function of English and the analytical tools needed for language teachers.
