GSE809: Natural Resource Economics

This unit is concerned with strategies for sustainable economic development from the management of natural resources. Part A deals with the development of conceptual frameworks. Part B deals with the application of these frameworks to specific cases such as mineral and energy resources, soil and water resources, forestry resources and fisheries. Part C deals with the applications of these frameworks in macroeconomics and the formulation at macro level of policies for sustainable development.
