ECED817: Early Childhood Philosophy and Pedagogy

This unit provides students with foundational knowledge of early childhood philosophy and pedagogy. Students will develop an awareness of the multifaceted role of an early childhood teacher through consideration of major approaches to early childhood education and participation in the equivalent of 10 half-day field visits to centres with birth to five-year-old children.
