CAUD810: Community Audiology
This unit will explore the role of audiologists in counselling parents of hearing-impaired children and adults with congenital or acquired hearing loss. Issues such as how hearing impairment can impact on the lives of family members or significant others will also be discussed. This unit will also explore the nature of the deaf community, its culture and language.
