ACES802: Searching and Constructing a Literature Review

In consultation with an academic supervisor students in this unit undertake a comprehensive and critical review of literature which provides the theoretical foundation of their chosen topic. For students taking this unit in association with other research training units (ACES801 Designing Educational Research, ACES803 Conducting and Communicating a Research Project) this critical review forms the basis of a research project. The product of this unit may be suitable as the basis for further work in a higher degree by research. Extensive use is made of online technologies.
