Master of Surgery
Abbreviation: MSurg
Description
The Master of Surgery program provides comprehensive, systematic, competency focused training for the surgeon who is undertaking career training in a surgical specialty. The program is designed to develop the specific technical and non-technical skills that define the surgeon in that specialty, and includes ethics and professionalism, research, advocacy, teaching and a personal commitment to lifelong learning. These programs are hands on and assessment is based upon the standards of performance of the specific competencies.
