Neuroscience 1 - MEDI204

This unit aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the nervous system. You will learn about the organisation of the system, how it develops and communicates information, and the neural control of movement, somatic sensation and homeostatic function. You will focus on examining clinical consequences that arise from pathological changes to these systems. Key learning activities will include lectures and practical sessions, with practical sessions integrating learning from lectures with associated pathology.
