Innovation in Leadership, Teamwork and Advocacy - HSYP807

This elective unit for the Master of Public Health focuses on leadership, teamwork, advocacy and innovation that are key practical skills for your career in public health. You will learn to shape your understanding of leadership and apply it in a range of settings. You will develop your skills to collaborate and communicate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams of diverse backgrounds and in different contexts. You will also learn to apply reflective thinking to your public health practice and implement fresh, innovative ideas to address complex public health issues. You will engage with a wide variety of leaders in public health throughout the unit and learn from them what public health advocacy is and how to conduct an advocacy campaign.
