Overview and Aims of the Program |
This combined degree with a Bachelor of Laws will give you greater insight into the role of law in finance.
Macquarie Law will give you knowledge of legal principles and the critical and analytic skills to really understand them. You'll study established areas such as constitutional law, international law, contract law and family law. You'll also look at areas of contemporary concern such as consumer law, environmental law, health law and information technology law.
Gain practical and job-ready financial skills with the Bachelor of Applied Finance component of the degree. You will be given specialist training to manage funds and investments in the complex world of markets, banks, laws, financial instruments and businesses.
Throughout the degree you will study units in economics, accounting, current financial theory, mathematical techniques such as probability or statistics, and analysis.
This applied finance degree has a focus on applying these skills to real financial organisations, markets and instruments.
