Overview and Aims of the Program The Master of Commerce degree delivers a flexible, career-oriented and relevant postgraduate business education in a range of disciplines. It is designed to meet employer needs and provides graduates with the capabilities for careers in the business professions.

Choose either one or two specialisations from Accounting, Actuarial Studies, Business Management and Organisations, Corporate Governance, Economics, Finance, Financial Crime and Governance, Human Resource Management or Marketing. A wide range of electives are available to broaden or deepen knowledge.

Accreditation This is an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) accredited qualification.

Professional accreditation with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia may be possible for students obtaining sufficiently high grades in the combination of units ACST831, ACST832 and ACST871. This would provide accreditation for the "part II" of the Institute Professional qualification. In addition sufficiently high grades in some of the other ACST postgraduate units may be used for accreditation / exemptions from some of the "Part I" core technical exams of the Institute.
